One bedroomed Gite with heated swimming pool near Sauzé-VaussaisWhether you are travelling south and need a peaceful spot to spend the night close to the N10 or whether you are planning a touring holiday in the Poitou- Charentes and need a central base, Chenay provides the perfect answer. The self contained, spacious, open plan Gite has its own kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom and looks out over the 9 X 4 metre heated swimming pool. The recently renovated and tastefully furnished accommodation has electric heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge. It contains one double, one single bed and a cot. A table tennis table and barbeque are provided and evening meals can be delivered to the Gite The property is set within one and a half acres in a tiny hamlet about ten minutes from the N10 and close to the market town of Sauzé Vaussais. The picturesque Charente river is only minutes away and for golf lovers there are a good selection of very attractive and low priced courses within the area. Fishing, horse riding and a good choice of reasonably priced restaurants can all be found close by. In June, July and August bookings are by the week, at other times shorter stays are possible.
