Chateau des Forges (27 holes)
Challenging and relaxing is perhaps the best way to describe this attractive 27 hole course on its 110 hectares of unspoilt countryside. It is challenging because of its undulating nature, lakes, bunkers and fabulous greens. It is hardly ever necessary to make a reservation, just enjoy the course and take your time. The practice area has 25 driving bays, and one of the best short game facilities in France.You can play on three exquisite nine hole courses, each being some 3,200 meters long with pars of 36, 37 and 36 .
Following a round of nine, eighteen or all twenty seven holes 'Le Club House' offers a warm welcome. The spacious, luxurious surroundings provides changing facilities, a gastronomic restaurant with terrace and golf shop, which also rent golf buggies. You can work on your golfing technique on the putting green and partly covered driving range.

Mazieres-en Gatine
‘Le Petit Chêne
This eighteen hole course must rate among the most beautiful in the area with its recently refurbished Chateau providing a stunning backdrop to the challenging and immaculately kept course. The second shot on the 10th is a test of even the coolest golfers nerves and the drive on the 18th towards the Chateau must be one of the finest you will come across.
Le Manoir de Beauvoir
Just 9k east of Poitiers at Mignaloux, this pretty course is set in the wooded grounds of the Manoir de Beauvoir hotel, with water coming into play on eight holes. Golfers will find it very varied and to an international level with many interesting holes. The trees provide welcome shade in summer.
The original manoir is a 19 th century chateau which is now a 3 star hotel. It is surrounded by al age old arboretum on the estate of Beavoir just south east of Poiers. The course has fairways of variable width and with some very demanding holes; it is suitable for all levels of golfer.

Golf de Haut Poitou
This course, located between Poitiers and Chatellerault, overlooks the beautiful scenery of the St Cyr Lake.
The first 9 holes of this course pass through woodland while the back 9 run down to the lake providing a number of water hazards. Good fairways and well defended greens add to the course's delights. The clubhouse is comfortable with a large terrace that overlooks the lake.
There is also a 9 hole course ideal for beginners.

Golf du Cognac
Located on the banks of the River Charente between Cognac and Jarnac, this a gently sloping course dotted with water hazards as it twists and turns between vineyards and woodland. 18 holes 6142 m Par 72
Open 8am to 8pm May to September and 9am to 6pm October to April.
Golf Club de L'Hirondelle
Located 4 kms south of Angouleme, the course has been recently redesigned. It covers an area of 35 hectares and is a gently sloping wooded course with fairways that demand stamina and excellent technique.

Golf du Petit Chêne
This course lies between Niort and Partenay in a 60 hectare estate consisting of rolling hillsides and countless small lakes. It is varied in its demands on the golfer and requires technical skill.

Golf Club de Niort
A fairly flat course on which all the tees are raised. The greens are well defended with bunkers and the fairways are narrow making this a technically demanding course.

Golf de la Prée
10 minutes north of La Rochelle, the course looks out to the Baie de L'Aiguillon and the Isle de Ré. Its 5 seaside holes give golfers the chance to pit their wites against the wind. The course wends its way through unspoilt scenery and, with many bunkers and water hazards, it is reminiscent of Scottish links.
