The Château des Forges Golf and Country club  is surrounded by a 180 ha domaine on which a superb golf course of 110 ha has been designed by the architect Bjorn Eriksson.

The Golf Club is one of the most beautiful courses in France, allowing you to play 3 beautifully maintained golf courses.

The golf des Forges is the only 27 hole golf course of the department playable all year round thanks to the investment in a drainage system. Made up of three nine hole courses, it offers different difficulties to challenge every golfer. The blue course is fairly flat with woodland and will suit all levels. High and middle handicap players will be delighted with the white course which has several water hazards and finally, the red course with its large, undulating, sloping greens will be a challenge to even the best players. At the clubhouse you will find the reception area for the golf course and for the villas, where bilingual staff will be delighted to tell you about the area and  will do everything they can to ensure that you have an enjoyable holiday. Also at the clubhouse, you will find a pro-shop where golf equipment can be bought or rented. The practice area has 25 driving bays, putting green, approach green, practice bunkers and, in fact,  one of the best short game facilities in France.

The clubhouse, renowned for its warm and friendly atmosphere, offers a restaurant “La Bergerie du Golf” with terraces overlooking the course. It is open all the year round and has a selection of choices for, either the golfer in a hurry, or someone who has more time to enjoy very popular, and are fast becoming a gathering for golfers and locals alike. La Bergerie closes on Monday evening in winter.
